With popped hoods and gleaming body work, Jaguar owners stood proudly beside their prized possessions during a display at the Aaguar from Christchurch her People's Choice vote.
Mr Reeve, 88, said he was a "Jag man".
The 1950s coupe was a 16-year restoration project for the Reeve family.
Some of Marlborough's motels had been booked out for two years because the occasion.
Mr Reeve said every nut and bolt had been changed.
The car, originally from New York, was a total non-runner when the family bought it in 1995, Laura said. |
