Area Police Services Assist Stratford in Truck Blitz

The parking lot of the Army and Navy Hall in Stratford became a make-shift inspection station as the Stratford Police Service co-ordinated a blitz on commercial trucks on Wednesday.

"We've pulled 6 out of service already," said Huevenaar after just half way through the day.

One pick-up truck was overloaded with six pigs in its box. "We will lay charges as needed.

Mechanics were on site to make some repairs, however they were sent to nearby garages for major repairs.
