Chrysler wants you to keep visiting its dealers . Chrysler also makes sure there is no salvage title or frame damage to the used vehicles. "Just because we didn't build the vehicle, doesn't mean we won't back it with a Chrysler Group warranty," said Eric Swanson, Head of the Pre-Owned Vehicles in a press release. If a car does pass the check, it will then come with a five-year and 60,000-mile (full mechanical) warranty that starts on the original in-service date. A win-win situation, clients can rest assured with their used car purchase, while Chrysler sells its pre-owned inventory . The used vehicles must also have less than 48,000 miles, and be no more than four years old, meaning presently, only 2008 models and above qualify. Fiat dealerships are the first in line to kick off the new Diversified Certified Program network, soon to be followed by Chrysler, Dodge , and Ram dealers in the next couple of months. But perhaps Fiat dealers will benefit the most, giving considerable thought to the brand's modest sales to date.
